WHAT IS THC-A?

THC-A stands for tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, serving as the precursor to THC present in various cannabis plant strains, including both hemp and marijuana. Unlike THC, THC-A does not induce intoxication in its acidic state. However, through decarboxylation (heating to remove the acidic component), THC-A converts into delta-9 THC.

In essence, THC-A is solely found in raw cannabis plants or extracts that haven't been exposed to heat. This explains why consuming raw cannabis doesn't produce euphoria. Yet, heating the cannabis flower—whether with a lighter or vaporizer—typically results in euphoric effects.

WHAT IS LIVE RESIN?

A freshly harvested cannabis plant undergoes immediate flash-freezing at extremely low temperatures. Subsequently, it undergoes extraction using various solvents like propane and butane hash oil, and sometimes even pressing. This unconventional extraction method offers time and cost savings for harvesters. Delta 8 THC features a similar chemical structure to Delta 9 THC; however, the slight difference is what allows it to deliver an uplifting high that has been described as not as intense as delta 9 THC.

The effects of delta 8 can vary depending on the person and situation, but usually take around 30-45 minutes to kick in. Unlike Delta 9, which is known for creeping up on you, the effects of Delta 8 gradually kick in and are less intense.

WHAT IS THC-P?

THC-P (tetrahydrocannabiphorol) is a potent cannabinoid found in cannabis. It's structurally similar to delta-9 THC but binds more strongly to the brain's CB1 receptors, making it potentially up to 30 times more potent. While THC-P is present in small amounts in most cannabis strains, it is typically extracted in concentrated forms. Due to its strength, THC-P can produce effects similar to THC, such as euphoria and altered perception, but may be more intense. As it's a newly discovered cannabinoid, it's recommended to start with small doses and purchase from reputable sources.
